We did a similar drive last year in early October, only we started in Waterville, Maine and drove up to Rangeley via a route that included a beautiful section of Hwy 4, and then down to North Conway, NH on Route 16 much the same as was described very well in the prior post. Beautiful colorful scenic Fall drive!
We definitely want to do it or something similar again.
